who is hbc rome?

We are real people who encourage one another, challenge one another and love one another. We believe the gospel relevant, that Jesus is The Way, The Truth and The Life, and that the Bible is guidebook to living a purposeful life.

our core values

found people find people.

We believe that people who are followers of Jesus Christ will and should share their faith with others with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15).

growing people change.

We believe in the transforming power of God's Word and that when someone is following Christ, one will grow in their understanding and faith, and their lives will be constantly changing (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

you cannot do life alone.

We believe that God never intended for Christians to be alone in their journey. At HBC, we strongly value community, discipleship, and accountability (Acts 2:42-47; Proverbs 27:17; John 13:34-35).

saved people serve people.

We believe that followers of Christ are to serve others as Jesus taught and demonstrated. This includes the local church, our communities, our colleagues, our families, our friends, our enemies, and anyone with whom we come in contact on a daily basis (John 13:1-17).

you cannot outgive God.

We believe that followers of Christ are to give to the local church out of a heart of worship to God in response to all God has done for us. When a believer gives back to God, He will bless the giver (2 Corinthians 9:7; Matthew 6:33; Proverbs 3:9-10).
